"I'm very pleased with the doors , which are now hung. I did have to add another set of handles (Morley) to the order for another bespoke door , but this didn't arrive with the order. It was easy enough to re-arrange but unfortunately when it did arrive and was fitted , it's spring function is poor. The Aston doors in isolation I would have scored 5."

they are free for a reason

"these handles look nice but their mechanisms are not great. the insert gets twisted inside the handle and the latch jams or doesn't compress properly. needed several adjustments for the 9 we ordered 2 we paid for and one doesn't work properly still . they look nice and what you would expect for free. I'd maybe order a few more I'm case 1 is a dud. you can't send them back after 48 hours which is crazy really as you don't know they are broken until you fit them."

Brilliant doors

"I purchased six oak 5 panel doors and i had the choice of two styles of handles. I also received three free hinges for each door. The only downside I could see with my purchase was the fact that the doors are solid core and weighed 35kgs each which I hadn’t realised but at 79 years of age it didn’t put me off fitting everything and hanging them with the aid of my wife. They look absolutely fantastic in our hallway and we are well pleased we hadn’t bought the cheaper lightweight moulded doors."

"Handles are good and look nice but screws are like cheese and wont drive into oak lippings without rounding off."

Let down by poor quality screws

"I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the quality of the screws. As with most goods that a supplied with screws they all now seem to be low quality and soft metal, no doubt from China. I binned the screws a used better quality"
